Beautiful chateau. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

Friendly staff!! Beautiful location!! Sub-par experience.
Beautiful location and chateau! The staff are very kind and helpful!
We stayed in a room in the main house and while it was beautiful- there were constantly beetles finding their way inside. Our first night we killed 8 of them. Also, the water heater broke midway through our visit and we had to be moved to a smaller and less comfortable room in the houses outside of the main chateau. The bathtub/shower was EXTREMELY slippery on the smaller second room, and I slipped getting out of the tub. Also, the mattresses were very uncomfortable in the smaller room. If I stayed again, I would only book in the main part of the chateau.

What was the highlight of Château D'artigny
Château is stunning. It’s really worth going all the way to enjoy the fairy tale feeling.
The Château is beautiful, including the decoration and those gorgeous halls, you are free to visit anywhere inside, and with the good weather like we had, such a Château is magnificent in the sun. It’s really worth going all the way to a hesitate and enjoying the fairy tale experience. Especially we loved the lady at the front desk, she brightened up our trip and gave us the feeling of being a friend. Her name is Rose.
A bit disappointed with the facilities in the room, it is understood that the castle is an ancient building and we do like its history, but for the price and management standards. Modern and thoughtful amenities such as those bath amenities and bed decor should be considered, it will not be reflected in the prices they offer. As for the restaurant, as we all know our French is not good, we tried our best and we didn't even have the bread that other tables had. It might break our hearts and passion for French service.
